1864-65, Joseph Bent was recorded running the Pedestrian Tavern.
At the Brewster Sessions, petitions were read complaining of the character of the house that Bent ran.
He was twice refused a licence in 1865
In 1867, Joseph Bent became licensee of the newly built Cattle Market Tavern in Aylestone Street. It is however unclear whether this was on the same site.
By 1870, Bent had moved on to the Dew Drop, Chester St.
