Taken from Leicester Chronicle 14 August 1886

I was just too late to photo the beer retailers shop front (now bricked up)
The advertising sign above had also been bricked up. Taken across the
road in Biddulph St looking down Lonsdale Rd circa 2000.

Lookinging up Biddulph St. Taken in the 1950s Lonsdale Arms now an off-licence.

There were at least seven other beer retailers in Biddulph St. but the Lonsdale Arms is seemingly the only full licence with a name.
