This didn’t last long before the Sports Corner kitchens were closed down by the Environmental Health in January 2018, due to mice and rat infestation. The Inspector described the food preparation area as in a filthy and dreadful state, with an immediate risk to the public. The bar area was allowed to trade. Magistrates confirmed the closure order, the Sport Corner owners to pay all legal costs.
Reopened as Bombay Nights Dance Bar, opened mainly late.
