Opened September 1999, as the Rat & Parrott. One of a group of themed pubs of the same name throughout the country.
The Glasshouse
Many changes took place in the early years of the 2000s, such was the proliferation of new bars that many went under. In other cases a change of name was tried as in the Rat & Parrot, which became the Glasshouse.
In 2010, the name changed again to Chilli Whites.
Chilli Whites became Candy Stripe in December 2013, and in November 2016, the Locker Room still open as of writing.
Congratulations on keeping track of the plethora of new, sometimes short-lived, names; I haven’t tried !
