May 2003, saw the Merchant Stores fail to compete with other bars in the area, so a change of style and direction was called for. A new concept to try and keep up with the young trends so it became CHIC.
Like so many others springing up at this time and as fashionable as it was the question was will this be around in ten years? … Answer: ‘No’, it closed in 2006.
MOONLIGHT
It became Moonlight bar & restaurant in 2007.

GRAPEVINE
Grapevine, May 2014.
In April 2015, the Grapevine lost its licence, after allegations of staff assaulting customers, refusing entry to police officers and also breaking other licensing conditions.
