    1. Hi Marc, yes we understand that, the history project lists all licensed premises under the title, it tells how the premises have evolved and changed over the years, if you have any info or current photos of Boxed will be only to happy to include it, thanks for your comment.

    1. Que Pasa was the Mexican Bar/Club upstairs and around the side. The Rum Runner itself, at ground level. was a Cajun-themed Restaurant. Both owned by the Hussein brothers, like the Pump and Tap across the road.

      1. I haven’t been in Leicester for 40 years so my memories are getting vague. I used to rehearse with a band upstairs in a pub somewhere on Duns Lane or Braunstone Gate in 1966 and held my leaving do from a place where I worked in the same room in 1970. The pub may have been demolished although the building we are talking about may have been it. The whole area seems to have changed a lot. The art college was round the back I believe.
