Opened in the 1st of February 1939, by Offilers Brewery, with licence transferred from the Bishops Blaze on Causeway Lane. Bought by Charrington United Brewers in 1965.
Changed it sname to Hunters Rest circa 2007 and put up for sale 2012.
Sad end to a fine late Deco building. Used as a cannabis factory, thousands of plants with complete growing equipment removed by police, as of May 2016, still stood empty covered in graffiti.
