Cornered on to Whitwick Way, The Adventurers is architecturally typical of many out of town pubs built by M&B in the late 1960s to 1970 that were built on new housing estates. The pubs complemented the estate’s house design, with usually an added frontage or room.
After an initial boom, most grew stale and faded through a lack of investment that did not offer any enticement to visit. The Adventurers is bucking the trend and still going.
Affectionately called the ‘Addies’. which officially became its name c2012.
