Built in 1871. Stood on the South West Side of Gordon Street and North West Porter Street.
Samuel Wilkinson filed for liquidation in November 1880 when landlord of the Pilot beerhouse at no. 21 Gordon Street.
John Brown was still running the Pilot in 1920, but the directory classed him as a beer retailer.
When it ceased as a beerhouse, it continued as a shop. Compulsory purchased in 1964.
