There is one reference to a Royal George in Luke Street. (LJ)
In August 1844, Joseph Gilbert, of the Royal George, Luke Street, was fined 10/- for refusing to admit police after 11pm, whilst there were many persons still in the beerhouse.
An 1849 directory lists the Royal George Luke Street and there is one other tentative ref in 1852, but no address given and the actual position on Luke Street is unknown.
