Building complex, circa 2000, housing various companies. Photo above, circa 2007, shows Keo’s Bar. In the background, is the iconic Bowstring Bridge, soon to be demolished. Not strictly a pub, more of a music venue. By 2009, it was called the Jam Jar, serving drinks in one. The venue had a bit of a chequered history.

In 2010, the Jam Jar’s licence was objected to for underage drinking – amongst other things that were not to be reported, according to the Licensing Bench (the mind boggles). The designated licence holder was banned from the premises. By 2015, known as 2 Funky Music Café.

2Funky Music Cafe Bar is still very much open for business.
Before it was any of these pubs it was the kingy road social club
