A Lamb is recorded in 1726. No address is given, although a Lamb in Sanvey Gate is is quoted in 10D57/168 papers, LRO.
Recent deeds indicate that a Lamb – placed on the corner of Sanvey Gate – later became a chemist for over one hundred years.

The chemist shop that stood on the corner Sanvey Gate, so we can presume it was the 18th century Lamb.
