A Nags Head was pulled down on West Bridge, King Richards Road on the 24th of January 1880, to make way for a new road (LC & M).
The only known reference to date is of Samuel Wise, landlord of the Nags Head, West Bridge. In June 1866, he went to the baths, but when he went to leave found his laced boots had been stolen. What he did next to get home is not recorded.
