Not strictly speaking a pub – more of a night club – but the decor on this Art Deco façade secures a place on the site (as well as being more or less the site of the old Oddfellows pub, thus illustrating changing leisure habits). Photo above, circa September 1994.
The building has had many guises, it was once called the Night in Town – one with a bit of a reputation, as older Leicester townies will know.
