Converted from the old Cherub building close to former AA offices, rebuilt as apartments with bar restaurant and nightclub. Opened 2002. Closed 2006.
Red Veil opened circa 2006, a bar and restaurant, next door to the Showrooms. By 2007, the Showrooms was now closed and up for sale.
Rebranded then as ZUCCHERO circa 2011.
In 2013, again rebranded as Foister Rooms World Bar and Restaurant. Both names visible (Zucchero and Foister Rooms), in August 2014 (see photo above).
Zucchero, a world buffet bar and restaurant, is still very much open for business.
I believe this was the Cherub Building, the clue being the “Foister” name. The AA was further along towards the Spread Eagle.
