(Photo Jack Graves collection) Built in 1872. There was a second entrance from Allington Street South East. Wm Buns ran a beer and grocery shop which consisted of two separate shops, containing yard with two stall stables. Wm applied for a spirit licence in 1884 to go with his beer licence, he offered to cease selling groceries in exchange for the licence, but this was turned down at the Brewster Sessions.

On the 4th of January 1879, the Peeping Tom was auctioned at the Bulls Head in the market place, the licence was transferred from Charles J Ellis to Wm Hammond later that year like many others it became an off-licence.
1888 the Peeping Tom was up for sale with Alfred Manger in occupation. He listed himself as beer retailer, butcher, shopkeeper and haberdasher.
