Reopened as Eden, then the Quarter (see photo above in 2006, in Leicester’s new cultural quarter are of intended theatres and bars. By 2010, it became Chutney Ivy, opened mainly as a restaurant.
Simon Postlethwaite, ex partner with yours truly and Bill Allingham in the much lamented Vaults, is the main player behind the Halford Street schemes.
