PLASTERERS ARMS – HEN & CHICKENS, 39 HALFORD STREET

Stood opposite the Three Cups South East, on the corner of Yeoman Street South West.

Opened circa 1860 as the Plasterers Arms, but soon after changed its name to the Hen & Chickens.

A beer only house selling Phipps. Closed 31 January 1928 for road widening.
