Reported as situated in the Oadby side of the toll gate opposite Victoria Park, between Old Horse and Evington Lane circa 1830s.
It certainly was a house of trouble, as the early newspaper reports of the 1830s & 40s suggest. Thomas Orton was victualler during 1830s.
