Corner of Waring and Porter St. Early directories list it as Waring Street, later ones 3-5 Porter Street. We do know it was a beerhouse in the early 1870s, from the transfer of licence listed below in April 1875.

In 1883, David Dale was victualler of Portobello beerhouse. By Januay 1897, it was an offie and grocers, still in occupation of David Dale, being advertised to let at £25 per annum.
