HOLE IN THE WALL, BELGRAVE GATE

A court case of July 1832, states that a new beerhouse – the Hole in the Wall, Belgrave Gate with landlord named Moore – was convicted in the mitigated penalty of 40/- plus costs, for knowingly harbouring disorderly and suspicious characters.
