LICHFIELD ARMS, 23 ALL SAINTS ROAD

Limited reference to date of the Lichfield Arms.

1879-80 directories gives Edward King as licensee. 1880-90 Thomas Western is listed as beerseller, milk seller and shopkeeper until the railway came, which meant that in common with many neighbouring buildings, that the Lichfield Arms was demolished less than 20 years after being erected.

1883 map All Saints Road, Lichfield Arms no. 23 would be (185.3) corner of Jarvis St, the Friars Head no 92 would therefore be approx (183.02) near All saints Place.
