The Looking Glass, aptly named, opened in 2001 in an old mirror shop. It retained the old shop front, blending aesthetically with the surroundings.

New-Old concept – Leicester’s first Brew pub since Hoskins stopped brewing in the 1980s, the West End opened March 2016, by father and son John and Josh Grey. John had been in the industry for 40 years, most recently running wholesale beer company.
