FULL MOON – CLUB TRIANGLE – BLUE IVY BAR & GRILL, 117 COLEMAN ROAD

Built circa 1938, with licence transferred from the Full Moon in East Bond Street, when that closed.  This photo was taken in 1965.

An Ind Coope house, it became one of the pubs leased out to Burtonwood Brewery.  In 1994, after falling into some neglect, it was sold off and became the Club Triangle.

Club Triangle 2001.

Later became Blue Ivy Bar & Grill circa 2020. Photo above from Jeremy Corbett collection. Closed in 2023.

An Ind Coope House before briefly being leased to Burtonwood Brewery.

  2. My grandad was Arthur Farrar, saw pictures of my dad born 1936 standing outside as a youngster.

  3. My mum, Joyce Baker, worked at The Full Moon as a cleaner at the weekends in the early 60’s. She was a mother of nine children and left the older ones to look after the youngest whilst dad slept after working a week on nightshift. My eldest sister, Linda, used to help with catering/waitressing when they had wedding receptions or other functions.
