Opened in November 1997, together with adjoining Jongleurs comedy club.
By 2006, Bar Risa had become Walkabout.
The first floor was used as various night clubs, comedy clubs and restaurants. These included Highlights, Just the Tonic etc. Not classed as a pub, although has licence.
Walkabout closed on the 3rd of May 2015. The parent company, ‘Intertain’ declared they had no option as the pub was losing money, coupled with the high rent. The fact that the lease had run out was an opportune moment to cut its losses.
