On the corner of Hastings and Smedmore Road, North West, built and replaced the old Great Northern in 1976.
The Running Fox closed for a while to reopen as the Hastings, but that was closed down in November 2007, when a prohibition order was served on the landlord. He had rigged up an illegal supply of electricity after being cut off.
A makeshift copper wire had been connected, and council officers moved in when fears that drinkers and staff could be electrocuted. Supplier Powergen then cut off the supply at the road.
Opened again as the Fox circa 2014.
In 2017, it opened as a shisha lounge called Huqqa Garden.
