KINGS ARMS, HIGHCROSS STREET

A Kings Arms is recorded as being in Highcross Street in 1799, having its own auction room (LJ 27/12/1799). 

In the same year the LJ tells of L. Hayden from London selling fashionable assortment of linen, drapery and hosiery from the Kings Arms Highcross Street. It might have meant Kings Arms in High Street.
