MERIDIAN BAR & GRILL
Meridian Leisure Park is a vast area near Braunstone Town including business and Industrial complexes close to the motor way the original pub off junction 21 in the 1980-90s was the MERIDIAN BAR & GRILL with if I recall a talking point of an aeroplane on the ceiling, I believe it had another short name previously, no doubt someone will remember and let us know, popular when it opened. Also we have no photos, so any info on this establishment we would be grateful to receive, a McDonald’s is now situated near or on the site.
BEES KNEES
Pub on the out of town Meridian Park complex. Known as Bees Knees circa 2012, Faye & Square chain, and instantly forgettable. Updated to Whacky Warehouse, part of Hungry Horse chain in 2015. Caters for a family market and seems to be successful.
THE OBSERVATORY
Is what it says a Beefeater Grill with bar facilities. opened circa 1996.
There are plenty of other eating establishments such as a Harvester but not classified in this pub section.
