Micro brew pub opened in June 1995 – a concept rolled out by Bass together with a chain of another ten or so across the country. A novel idea, but as adopted by a major brewery, not in the true spirit of individual home brew pubs. Not the easiest place to get to – on the edge of the city – and didn’t stand the test of time. Closed some five years later circa 2000.
