Sometime called the Case Shop & Tasting Rooms, and ran by the owners of the Case in Hotel St. Mmore of a retail shop, although there is a seating area upstairs where you can sit and tipple a glass of wine or spirit.
By January 2016, it was now advertised as ‘Wines Spirits and Event Gallery, Shop/Bar.’
The Case in Millstone Lane closed in 2016. After standing empty for over a year the lease was taken over by a couple who had recently run the The Tap in the Square in St Martins.
Named the Two Tailed Lion, apparently after the coat of arms of Simon De Montfort.
Three hand pulled beers, six craft. Beautiful building, but was still searching for its vibe, when we called one hot afternoon in its early days in July 2018. Wish it well but it is a hard trade out there.
